Where are you from? Willmar, MN
What is your favorite brewing topic to talk to customers about? I like talking about different kits and recipes with fellow brewers and bouncing ideas around.
What was your biggest brewing blunder? I would say not taking enough detailed notes when I started. That will always help you be more consistent with your batches or pinpointing what went wrong.
What movie have you watched the most times? Hmm, that is a tough one. I would probably say either The Godfather Part II or Snatch.
What was your proudest moment in your fermentation history? When I come downstairs in the morning and I have krausen coming out of my airlock and is everywhere only 7 hours after pitching.
Why do you brew? Because I love the challenge and making unique beers that you can't buy at the liquor store.
When did you start brewing? I starter brewing the Winter of 2010.
What is your brewing system? I do extract and all-grain. 8 gallon kettle, an old Bayou Burner, and a cooler mash tun. I also have a dual keg system but also bottle some batches.
What is your favorite style of beer for drinking and for brewing? I really like Belgian ales and IPA's.
If you could share a beer with anyone throughout history, of even fictional, who would it be? Michael Jackson, not the singer.
Where do you spend your non-brewing time? I spend most of my free time with my wife and daughter. Baby number 2 is on the way so a lot of my time is spent getting the house ready.
Who are your three favorite musicians/bands? This changes pretty much weekly but I would have to say Lucero, Rancid, and The Get Up Kids.
